Mary Blake's path into medicine began with a loss. She was five when her father died of cancer, and from that grief came a question she asked her mother again and again. Why couldn't science save him? Her mother answered with faith and the mystery of what we don't know, and it lit a lifelong obsession with how the body fights disease and how medicine can back it up.

Mary has spent more than a decade inside healthcare. She's been a Senior Clinical Research Associate auditing multi-million-dollar clinical trials for patient safety and regulatory compliance, a Research Coordinator at Texas Oncology, and a medical laboratory technician at Baylor. As a CRA she traveled to medical schools, hospitals, and clinics running studies, checking that each one protected its patients and met local and federal standards. Today she teaches the next generation as an Adjunct Professor of Microbiology at Tarrant County College.

She holds a Master of Science in Public Health and Infectious Disease in Global Health from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Arlington. She's now pursuing a Doctorate in Health Science at Purdue University, where she specializes in health policy. Mary is a published author in SciVision Magazine and certified in Public Health through Harvard University, and her work has spanned oncology, immunology, diabetes, and epidemic-causing pathogens.

Her sharpest lessons came from watching patients, healthcare workers, and high-performing professionals fall through the cracks of rigid systems, worn down from keeping their health and their money afloat while everything else got squeezed to the edges. That's where her framework came from: the "Ecosystem of Health." Your body and your bank account don't sit in separate boxes, and your sense of purpose runs through both. She explores it every week as founder and host of the Live Well podcast.

Mary founded Blake Incorporated LLC and Panda Health Solutions, and co-founded Trvl-Pro, a travel-wellness venture with a doctor-formulated line of wellness products on the way. She's licensed in Health & Life Insurance, and she helps C-suite executives, healthcare organizations, and high-performing individuals protect what they're building and the liquid capital behind it, merging health and wealth into one plan through corporate consulting and specialized asset underwriting (IUL). She's won a 40 Under 40 Visionary Award and is an alumnus of the Mayor's Star Council of Dallas. She's presented at the Texas STEM Conference and delivered medical aid in Uganda with the Global Aid Network. She also pushes for public-health reform alongside civic and industry leaders.
